Prerequisite Charms: Throat-Baring Hold
This Charm supplements a clinch attack or an opposed grapple check, during which strands of Essence wrap around the Lunar's target at her direction. If the grapple check succeeds, the character leaves the grapple while her Essence solidifies around the target. The bindings appear to be constricting bands of silvery Essence, the papery cocoon of a wasp or some other strange containment. This leaves the Lunar free to perform other actions while her magic holds her opponent. On each of the Lunar's subsequent actions, her player rolls her opposed grapple check as normal, in addition to anything else the character does. If the Lunar desires, she may supplement this check with Excellencies but no other Charms.
