Onlookers often see the image of a great, black-robed necromancer with violet-hued eyes towering behind him in the same posture. The target's colors appear to invert for a moment as her Essence is juxtaposed with an exact opposite drawn from the Void.

The spell is devastating to its victims' spiritual and physical well-being. Her bones shiver with the force brought against them, and her heart flutters with the cold of Oblivion. She suffers dice of raw lethal damage equal to twice her current remaining health levels, which ignores armor, and she loses motes of Essence equal to twice her permanent Essence (Peripheral before Personal). If this spell kills its target, the inverted-color image shatters into a thousand slivers and flies away on the winds of the Underworld. The victim falls to the ground, drained of all color. This spell instantly kills extras.
