Stewards work in the night to protect what they govern during the day. At times, it would hurt their plans more to be heard by unknown ears than to be ignored. Any social attack supplemented by this Charm can be detected only by individuals selected by the Lunar, up to (Essence x 2) people at a single time. Stewards use Secret Speech Method for secrecy when they suspect the presence of spies or to limit the targets of a broadcast Performance-based attack. The Lunar's player must roll (Charisma + Performance), however. Any non-targeted person whose Dodge Mental Defense Value is less than the rolled successes suffers an illusion effect: Instead of the Lunar's message, the person hears ordinary chit-chat, a bloviating speech or some other content-free communication that suits the circumstances.
